James E. Jackson, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 13, 2018. He was born on August 21, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, to James E. Jackson Sr. and Delois Hale.

James worked as a plumber and carpenter.

He is survived by his children James Landon, Yalanda Jackson, Nyquicha (Anthony) Dodds, Jermaine White, Ryan Jackson, LaTonya Jackson, Yalonda Jackson, and John Terry Turner; sisters Dorris Woods and Sharon Whitlow; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Delois Hale; step-father Jewell Whitlow, and nephew Darryl Woods.
